The Thing That Can Move My Heart-WakeUp Call

The One Thing That Can Move My Heart

Have you ever wondered why your life feels stuck—or just plain sucks?

I kept asking myself: why does my life feel so mundane? Day after day felt the same-uninspired and unmotivated. I needed something to wake me up. Something to move my heart.

Starting With a Podcast

One day, while working out at home, I felt reluctant and unmotivated. Still, I put on my earphones and searched for a podcast to accompany my workout. I stumbled upon Mel Robbin's podcast. That episode was about reviewing your past year and improving the next. It sounded simple-just reflect and grow. But when I tried it, I realized it wasn’t simple at all.

I didn’t have a journal to track my journey. I couldn't pinpoint what I wanted to improve or what I had accomplished. The truth hit me hard: I had done nothing. I had wasted an entire year. I felt ashamed.

That day, I made a decision. I needed to find myself-at least a hobby to keep me motivated and focused on self-improvement. That’s when I discovered blogging. I started writing about my journey. My blog became my journal. I’m not fluent in English, and writing in it isn't easy-but I still do it.

The Trigger

To this day, I still listen to podcasts while jogging or doing yoga. It's my way of triggering my brain to keep learning and stay disciplined. It helps me build strength-not just physically, but mentally.

It works. Whenever I feel reluctant to do something, I put on my earphones and play my favorite podcast. Even now, as I write this post, I didn't have a clear idea. But I'm writing from the heart.

Step by step, I write my story-messy, imperfect, and sometimes not compelling. But I'm learning. Over time, I'm getting better. Most importantly, I've found my passion. I feel alive. My life has meaning.

The Big Question

Can I stay consistent with what I've started?

That's why I'm building discipline. Discipline ensures you keep going-whether you feel like it or not. It's not easy to take action, but without discipline, you'll never move forward. Start small. Gradually increase your effort. Build consistency. Eventually, discipline becomes momentum-and momentum becomes lifestyle.

My favorite quote: "Every time you're changing, you're choosing."
If you feel stuck, take it as your wake-up call. Change doesn’t have to be dramatic-just start by shifting one bad habit into a good one, little by little. Stick with it, and see where it takes you. You might just surprise yourself.
