Stronger By Choice
"I Need to Diet"
That's the first thought that echoed in my head when I saw the number on the scale: 68 kilos. But instead of spiraling, I started listening. I didn't punish my body-I partnered with it. I never imagined that those four words would lead me to something deeper. Three green juices a week. More fiber, more protein. Less guilt, less guessing. I'm not shrinking to fit in-I'm evolving to show up. Stronger by Choice.
Diet Alone Wasn't Enough
When I was in elementry school, I had a friend who obsessed over her weight. She was so careful - avoiding greasy food, skipping dinner after 5 PM. Me? I'd eat anything, anytime. I had a naturally slim body and thought I'd never need to worry.
Fast forward to today- I've become the picky one. And I finally understand why she was so mindful.
You Gotta Move
But eating clean is just one piece of the puzzle. My biggest enemy? My own mind whispering: "You can exercise later." "Finish this drama first."
Sound familiar? I had to rewrite that internal script. My method? Tiny steps - just enough to get moving, without overwhelming myself.
Fuel and Movement Work Together
Exercise without nutrition is a cycle that burn you out. Sure, you'll lose weight at first, but if you don't support your body with better food, the weight comes back faster than you'd believe. I've there.
How I Changed My Meals
I didn't quit rice - I just downsized it. I piled on veggies and proteins: tofu, tempeh, spinach, bean sprout, corn, carrots, tomatoes. I played with combination until I found what worked for me.
And my secret weapon?
Green juice.
Two to three times a week,I'll blend cucumber with carrots, or spinach with tomato. It's energizing, immune - boosting, and honestly...addictive in the best way. The glow in my skin? Total bonus.
Oh-and without even realizing it, I stopped craving snacks, soda, and sugar. I didn't force myself. My habits just shifted as my energy changed.
My Weight Stabilized-But That's Not Even the Best Part
Was it hard? Yes. Was it worth it? Without question. Small changes grew into strength, and energy I never knew I had. I feel aligned-body, mind, and intention.
To you out there, still stuck or tired of trying: Don't give up. Maybe my method won't fit you-but that just means there's another way waiting for you to find it.
And if you found your way? Share it. Let's grow together.
