Discover how I started my wellness journey with small habits that shifted my mindset and improved my well-being - a healthy lifestyle built on discipline and consistency.

From Whisper into Action - When Motivation Finally Kicks In

We all have that moment - when inspiration hits and we quietly say to ourselves, "I want to change."

This is the story of how I turned that whisper into action - not with grand plans, but with tiny, meaningful steps.

If you've ever hesitated to begin, I hope my journey encourages you to take your first small step.

Fitness Motivation for Beginners at Home

Believe it or not, achieving something meaningful often starts with just small steps.
One year ago, I was watching TV when Cinta Laura Kiehl was being interviewed.
Someone asked her, "How do you get abs like that?" She smiled and said, "Workout and eat healthy food."

Right then, I told myself, I want to be like her - not just for the body, but to feel fresh, strong, and healthy.

Getting a body like hers? It's a long journey for sure - but not impossible.

The real challenge was simply getting my body to move without the usual drama.

You know the voice: "Later, Noe… it’s cold… do it after breakfast… just cuddle under the blanket."

Every day felt like that.

How To Start a Fitness Journey When You Feel Unmotivated

Start My Journey with Pajamas

I found inspiration in books like Atomic Habits and The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy.
They taught me to start small and avoid feeling overwhelmed.

So I did.

On day one, I tried a few yoga poses. I couldn't finish them - tired, sweaty, and out of breath - but I felt amazing.

(As reminder this is how I looked the first time I started my healthy journey.)

The next day, I showed up again. Still just a few poses.

It took me a month before I could finish an entire session. I know that sounds too long, but I still did it anyway. 😁

I chose gentle discipline over instan gratification.
Slow progress builds discipline that sticks.

You don't need to be perfect to begin.
Starting a workout routine at home is enough.
Real fitness transformation doesn't always start at a gym.

Just start small.
It's okay.
Small changes that improve your body and energy more than you think.

Starting a Workout Routine at Home

At the beginning of my journey, I did yoga at home in pajamas and without a mat.
Can you imagine that?

But that's the thing: just start. Don't overthink.

And now, looking back, I'm proud of myself.

I still don't have Cinta Laura’s abs - getting there takes more effort - but I’ve found the formula for feeling strong and healthy.

You know, there are a thousand paths to reach the Great Wall of China.

My Beginner Fitness Journey

Looking back now, it's been three years.
I can complete a full yoga session, and I've added 30-minute jogs three to four times a week.

And not just that - sometimes I do strength training too. Isn't that wild? I never thought I could do that.

Overcoming Self-Doubt

So if you're out there struggling to start, or wondering how to begin - start small.

Over time, those tiny steps will grow.
They'll compound.
And one day, you'll look back and realize how far you've come.

Trust me - I've been there too.

What's one thing in your life you really want to change but you still can't figure out how to start?
Try my method and share if it works for you. I'd love to know.

See you in my next chapter.
Stay healthy and focused.
